Do you provide music for both the ceremony and cocktail hour?
We curate the musical atmosphere for the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Dinner. Our sets transition from a romantic, timeless ceremony tone to a festive cocktail hour, ending with an elegant, acoustic texture for dinner that allows for seamless conversation.
Who will be performing at my wedding?
We offer two tiers of performance:
The Tri-State Duos: Our premier ensembles of hand-picked cello and guitar master-craftsman who bring our signature arrangements to life with technical mastery.
The Founders (Topu & Randy): As the creative directors, we oversee every project and arrangement. We are available personally for a limited number of four-hour "Full Wedding" performances each year.
Can you learn a specific song for my wedding?
Absolutely. Custom Arranged Songs are a New York Ceremony Music specialty. Beyond our extensive library of over 200 recordings, we can create a custom arranged song for any piece not currently in our collection. This ensures your most meaningful moments have a musical backdrop tailored specifically to you.
What is a New York Ceremony Music "Soundtrack Wedding Ceremony"?
Beyond our repertoire of over 200 Custom Arranged Songs, we offer original ceremony soundtracks: songs written exclusively for your story and released as part of our NYCM Originals record series. We compose a suite of music for your ceremony that is yours and yours alone. This includes the original songs, a professional studio recording for your wedding film and social media, and a custom-cut vinyl keepsake. For clients booking a live performance, we premiere your original soundtrack during the ceremony, or your DJ can spin it!

Do you provide sound equipment and microphones?
Yes. All packages include state-of-the-art amplification specialized for the delicate balance of guitar and cello. We also offer professional wireless microphone systems for your officiant and speeches upon request.
What are your travel and outdoor requirements?
With founders based in both New York City and Los Angeles, we perform extensively across the Tri-State area and the West Coast. We are also available for destination events worldwide, having previously performed in locations such as Italy, Mexico, Montana, and Denver. For all outdoor ceremonies, we require adequate protection from direct sun and rain to protect our high-end acoustic instruments.
Is a rehearsal attendance necessary?
It is not. New York Ceremony Music coordinates all musical cues and logistical details through personal consultations and emails beforehand. This ensures a flawless, high-touch experience on the day of the event without requiring a rehearsal run-through.
