Are you guys willing to travel outside of New York?

Yes, we travel between New York and Los Angeles regularly. We perform destination events both domestically and internationally.

Do you enjoy performing weddings?

Yes!!! As a musician you have to love what you do. The key is to work with people you love and improve your craft. The cornerstone of our longevity has been arranging a new musical language every year. One year we arranged a Bossa Nova set, another year we arranged a Brazilian Choro set, and after that we arranged a Gypsy Jazz set, then we arranged a Jazz Standards set, a Klezmer set, a Classical set of non-traditional song cycles, reversed roles and Randy arranged all the melodies on guitar and Topu arranged all the chord changes on cello creating a distinct new timbre. Through the years we have arranged over 500 songs and recorded over 150!

Do you play outdoor functions?

Yes, we have portable instruments and sound systems to accommodate every event. It's important to be mindful of rain and sun coverage for our precious instruments, but we are happy to make any scenario work!

Can New York Ceremony Music also provide additional equipment to amplify the entire ceremony?

Yes, we have equipment to handle both large and small ceremonies. Wirelss mics and Recording equipment are also available.

I have many songs which hold special meaning to me. Can you guys learn specific tunes?

Yes, this is our specialty and we will arrange your favorite tunes to capture the spirit, melody and harmony of the music.

Does NY Ceremony Music come to the wedding rehearsal?

It is not necessary to come to the wedding rehearsal. That time is most important for the officiant. The details of the ceremony music are worked out over phone, consultation, email and we assure you everything will run smoothly. If you are still feeling nervous we can make special arrangements.

Does New York Ceremony Music play Micro Weddings?

Yes, we play all forms of weddings including micro weddings which have become popular as of late.
